How to Enter?
Students who are interested to participate in the ICAS will have to enrol through their respective schools. ICAS is held in schools on the specific date set by EAA.
Here are the 4 steps to enrol for ICAS:
Step 1
Schools which haven’t participated in ICAS before
If your school has not participated in ICAS before, here’s what you will have to do:
Discuss with your Principal on the possibility of holding this assessment in your school. If your Principal is agreeable, then a person in the school will be appointed as the subject coordinator or overall coordinator for ICAS. The coordinator may be the Principal or a teacher in the school.
Then, the coordinator will forward the following details to EATS:
- Name of School
- Mailing address of School
- Telephone number
- Fax number
- Name of Principal
- Email address of Principal
- Name of Coordinator
- Email address of Coordinator
Once this is received, a new school code will be generated and will be used as a point of reference. Subsequently, a package containing the 4 subjects entry forms will be sent to the school.
Proceed to Step 2.
Schools which have participated before
If your school has participated in ICAS before, here are the steps to follow:
A package will be sent to schools, which contains the following items for each subject:
- One entry form for each of the four subjects: English, Science, Mathematics and Computer Skills.
- A copy of reminder on the final closing date
- Information booklet
- Return envelope for each subject and
- One combined return envelope (to be used if your school is submitting entries for four subjects simultaneously, with all four entry forms enclosed)
Step 2
